Pallet Racking Inspections

A "Pallet Racking Inspection" is a vital safety check performed by a competent and industry-experienced individual to ensure regulatory compliance and identify any damage. It is a legal requirement to conduct this inspection every 12 months. The assessment involves verifying correct installation, identifying missing parts, assessing operational damage, and evaluating potential environmental harm.

PALLET RACKING INSPECTION – ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR WAREHOUSE

At United Racking, we understand the importance of ensuring the safety of your warehouse and your staff. That’s why we offer comprehensive pallet racking inspections to ensure that your racking system is safe, compliant, and damage-free.

As per the Australian Standards for Pallet Racking AS4084.2023, it is a legal requirement that all pallet racking is inspected at least every 12 months. Our expert inspectors are fully trained and equipped to inspect your racking system to ensure it meets all necessary safety standards and regulations.

We highly recommend that you get your racking inspected on a more regular basis, ideally every 6 months, to pick up on any damage that may have occurred that was not reported at the time of the incident. Weekly or fortnightly inspections can be carried out internally by your warehouse staff, but a formal inspection by a competent person is necessary to ensure complete safety compliance.

Who can inspect your racking? A competent person must inspect your racking, and we believe that a competent person should have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and a full understanding of the Australian Standard AS4084.2023. That's why we recommend our experienced United Racking inspectors for your pallet racking inspection needs.

Our inspection process covers all aspects of your racking system, including installation, missing components, operational damage, incorrect loading, and environmental impact (corrosion). On completion of the inspection, you will be supplied with certification stating that your racking is safe and compliant with the Australian Standards, or a list or work required before the certication can be offered.

To book an inspection, simply give your local United Racking branch a call, and we will take care of the rest. We will let you know what is required, how much it will cost, and get you booked in. We can set you up with a regular inspection every 6 or 12 months or conduct a one-off inspection, whatever best suits your needs.

At United Racking, we are committed to providing you with the best possible service and ensuring the safety of your warehouse and staff. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us a message anytime.
